A large part of this website does not store any personal information. Exceptions are the Transcript Forum and the searchable database of “Groninger Bronnen”, the last one is only available in Dutch.

The Dutch language searchable “Groninger Bronnen” database also has a Dutch only page: gebruiksvoorwaarden en privacy verklaring.

Some pages may connect to social media and/or may show advertisements. Our partners for social media and advertisements may have access to your information when you visit those pages.

We are careful in handling your information in case we use your information at all. Except in the cases mentioned above we don't share your information with any other third party unless we are required to do so by law.

However you need to be aware that this website currently does not use a secure https connection. This means that you should only log in (insofar that is needed for certain parts of this website) when you are certain that the network you use is safe and secure. By logging in you state that you accept the consequences and understand what it means that you are using an http connection.

On certain pages you may be shown ads by Google AdSense. Google can also collect your information. How that happens you can see here at Google.

Registered Users of Transcript

We store some data of all registered users of Transcript.

The registration code and connected e-mail address are saved for as long as they are valid. On one hand to help users who have forgotten their registration codes or to send new codes when necessary; on the other hand also to detect and protect against fraud with the registration codes.

A user may also supply other data which we may store: name, address, city and https:. These can be used to communicate with the user using their correct name or when their e-mail addres is unreachable.

This information is not shared with any other third party unless forced by law. We store this information offline in a careful manner which means that the chances of unauthorized access are small.

In compliance with the GDPR you can request to see all your information that we have and you can request to change your information by emailing jgboerema@gmail.com. If necessary you can also request that your information will be deleted except the registration code and linked email which are necessary to recognise fraud.
