Transcript Beta information and download

This page contains status updates about the current beta version of Transcript which can be downloaded from this page.

The stable version of Transcript can be found here.

In most cases the beta versions of Transcript do not have any serious problems (no guarantees though). So when you want to use the newest features, you are invited to test the latest beta of Transcript.

See the Transcript forum for a more detailed description of all changes. If you register (forum registration is free) you can change the forum language and you can also subscribe to the announcements forum so you can get automatically notified of new versions.

• This is release candidate 1 for version 2.3. The only changes with the previous beta are some small interface changes and tweaks in Options so that there is more space for translations. For details see the Transcript announcements forum.

• Several tweaks to the special chars dialog, the main program and several other places. For details see the Transcript announcements forum.

• Added the possibility to insert special chars/symbols, image selection can be placed in a seperate window, option to visually see the progress of the amount of images you have done in the toolbar. For details see the Transcript announcements forum.

• Added selecting part of image and copy it to clipboard or editor. For details see the Transcript announcements forum.

• Fixed recognizing of new GPL GhostScript versions and fixed some bug in AutoReplacement handling. For details see the Transcript announcements forum.

• Fixed a bug in AutoReplacement database handling: after deleting words from the list the index got corrupted.

• Fixed a few bugs in the new sqlite AutoReplacement database handling.

• Fixed a number of bugs, improved the speed of the AutoReplacement dialog, and several other tweaks.

• Some more bugs fixed and support for German.

• Fixed some bugs and added readonly mode.

• This release mainly fixes some bugs.

Registration

The registered version of Transcriptie costs only 15 euro and has some useful extra features. Don't forget to send me an e-mail otherwise I won't know where to send the registration code!

Transcript Beta (1338 KB, zipversion, without installer!)

Beware: this is not a complete version of Transcript! It does not contain Help and language files and other files that may be necessary for running Transcript. First you need to install the the release version of Transcript. After that you can copy the new files in the Beta version over those files.
